Contemporary architecture has invited the artist to explore the notion of multidimensionality. Here, each geometric form can be seen as a plane or a facade, overlapping and intersecting to create a complex yet harmonious structure. Like an architect, she has sought to build a space that is not only physical but also emotional and conceptual.
In "Multidimensionality," the forms are not merely static; they evoke an interaction between the solid and the void, between what is constructed and what is imagined.
In the manner of Gehry's buildings, where rigid materials like metal and glass are manipulated to appear almost fluid, Aurore sought to imbue these geometric forms with a sense of latent movement, as if they were rearranging themselves before our eyes.
This idea of architectural flexibility and fluidity may have been a starting point for this work. Here, each geometric form can be seen as a facet of a complex structure with undulating surfaces and unexpected angles.
The green, yellow, and blue are reminiscent of building materials, while the acute angles and sharp edges could evoke the clean lines of a modernist building.
It is not just about representing an object or a figure, but about creating a structure that dialogues with the surrounding space and engages the viewer to consider new perspectives.
This work is therefore both a homage and a personal exploration of how the ideas of a visionary architect can be translated into visual art, where multidimensionality becomes not only a matter of space, but also of perception and interpretation.
