Chiron

In this canvas, Chiron emerges, half-man, half-horse, bearing a duality that defines him as much as it elevates him. His flesh-coloured bust expresses humanity, consciousness and wisdom, while his equine body, in shades of grey-brown, embodies instinctive strength and earthly grounding. He unfolds against a double black and white background, an echo of his contrasting essence: light and shadow, wound and healing, knowledge and trial.

His movement is resolutely forward-looking, his front paws ready to tread new paths, as if he carries within him the impetus of the guide and the master. For Chiron is no ordinary warrior; he is the one who teaches, the one who transmits. Down through the ages, he has trained heroes and healers, revealing to each their own strength. Here, this mission is evident in his gesture: in his outstretched arms, a bow whose golden pyramidal structure symbolises elevation and mastery. He is about to release an arrow of love, not to wound, but to awaken.

On its hindquarters, just above its tail, rests a second golden pyramid. Like a sacred imprint, it suggests wisdom gained through trial, resilience born of suffering. For Chiron, the

"a wounded healer carries within them a wound that does not heal. Yet, far from weighing them down, it becomes the engine of their knowledge: it is not by avoiding pain that they heal, but by transcending it.

The entire body of work vibrates thus with a subtle balance between strength and vulnerability, between power and altruism. The rigorous geometry of its lines accentuates this paradox: an ordered structure for a being in perpetual transformation. In him, everything converges towards the same design:

to advance, to guide, to heal... and, despite the wound, to continue to love.
