Interior Geometries: When Geometry Becomes Emotion

You 15 January to 10 February 2026, Artalistic Curated - Maison d'Art Contemporain present Interior Geometries, a solo exhibition of Aurore Michel-Grégoire, in partnership with the Art Gallery al Set, in Escaldes-Engordany, Andorra.

Through a selection of emblematic and recent works, the exhibition invites you to discover a world where Contemporary geometry becomes a true emotional language. The minimalist compositions, architectural forms and the rigour of the pictorial construction structure the space while allowing a sensitive, introspective and spiritual dimension to emerge.

Aurore Michel-Grégoire's work is distinguished by a permanent tension between Control and letting go, structure and intuition. Each canvas functions as a mental projection space, inviting the viewer to slow down, contemplate and feel. Themes of duality, perception and inner quest run through all the exhibited works.

Certain major pieces, such as Le Pèlerin, incarn fully embody this pursuit. Inspired by constructivism and modernist architecture, the geometric figure in motion symbolises an inner journey, between grounding and elevation. Other works explore light, illusion and the transformation of reality, in a subtle dialogue between abstraction and an inner narrative.

The exhibition also forms part of a reflection on’artistic heritage, reinterpreted through contemporary writing. Aurore Michel-Grégoire revisits certain historical references by translating them into a strong geometric language, where symbolism is directly inscribed in the structure of the composition.
