The builder of Light

With The Light Builder, Aurore Michel-Grégoire explores the figure of the human as the architect of their inner world.
The form, deliberately fragmented and constructed from geometric planes, evokes a body in motion, simultaneously anchored in matter and oriented towards spiritual elevation.

The contrast between the dark background and the light areas highlights an intimate construction process: light is not given, it is built. Each surface becomes a supporting element, each angle a decision, translating the permanent tension between effort, balance, and revelation.

Through this work, the artist offers a metaphor for the creator – be they an artisan, thinker or symbolic builder – engaged in the transformation of chaos into structure, of shadow into clarity.
